Decisions

The New American Century Dictionary defines decision as the act or process of deciding- to resolve after consideration. We make decisions every day. Some decisions have little bearing on other people or very little effect on our own life. Other decisions we make can have a lasting impact well after we have gone from this earth. These choices can be good or bad. I have made decisions that reach far to both sides of this spectrum. Most of my decisions have not had a lasting impact but some have and will have an eternal effect. Yesterday, I attended a funeral of a woman that I have never met. You may ask, why would you do this? My answer is simple, I went because she made a decision that has had a bearing on my life- not only my life but many others as well. A few decades ago, Eileen donated part of their family farm for the purpose of building a new church. The church was then in the town of Rock Creek. The farm was a couple of miles to the south on the corner of K-92 and K-4 highways. I
